2007 Grand Rapids Christian Parenting Conference on February 3rd Celebrates the Family
The 2007 Grand Rapids Christian Parenting Conference, Celebrating the Family, is planned for Saturday, February 3. Therapists and counselors from seven area agencies will offer free parenting advice and practical tips. The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., in the Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Arts and Worship. The Center is located on the campus of Grand Rapids Christian High School. Enjoy the keynote address by R. Scott Stehouwer, PhD, entitled “Life, Stress and God: A Guide to Helping Kids Fail Successfully,” followed by two of 23 workshops. The conference is free of charge and open to the public. No registration is required. Shawnee Park Christian Reformed Church will provide free childcare (0-8 yrs. old) for up to 20 children.
